A GOOD HEAD IS ESSENTIAL.
Especially when it comes to stout. We use nitrogen bubbles to give our Ink Stout its thick, creamy head and smooth finish. And without getting all big headed, we think it’s the finest stout in the land. Loaded with roast and bitter dark chocolate, dark fruits, a rich and smooth body with linger dry finish.
Stout was born in london in the 18th century, but while the black stuff was made famous in ireland, it declined in popularity in the capital, until now. This changes everything and stout has never tasted so good.

Keg tap at the Mill, Cambridge. Black and opaque with a thin but resilient tan head. Bit of liquorice and oat biscuit in the aroma. A hard bitter taste, intense and honest. This beer may have more subtlety but the cold temperature kills it. Medium to thin body, giving it more of the feel of a refreshing sessioner than a proper bad-ass stout. Good enough but not great value for the price. Better than Guinness though.
