Cask at the Thomas Lloyd JDW, Warwick. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, nutty, malt, light herbal, light floral, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Rather light all round, but somewhat sessionable.

Cask at the Ship Inn, Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey, labelled as Kenneally Bitter. Amber-chestnut with a thick white head. Rich caramel and toffee up front. There's some fruitiness too (sweet apple and strawberry). Generally sweetish, although there is a light roasty note in there. Not bad.
