(Can) Pours Black with huge tan head. Bold, rich, complex and pleasant aroma including raisins, chocolate, dark toast malt, brandy. Full bodied, smooth with good bright carbonation. Rich and complex taste. The alcohol is clearly present. The burnt / dark roast malt provides sweetness at the start and some strong burnt bitter notes in the finish. There’s plenty of interesting fruity notes and some spices, especially in the mid palate. Interesting but the burnt and alcohol notes are a bit too intense and brutal.
