(Bottle) Pours clear dark red brown with thin short-lived off-white head (looks a bit like coke). Nice aroma - toffee, chocolate, vanilla when warmer, with butler ginger when cold. Medium body with slightly fizzy carbonation. Unusual and enjoyable taste with the gentle kick of ginger. A dark toffee and nutty brown ale with some bitterness in the finish and a nicely balanced subtle ginger taste. Clever and enjoyable beer.
