Our love for traditionally inspired lagers has us wanting to slide into cooler temperatures with something darker. Black Lotus is our take on a black lager. Opaque in color, bold in flavor, yet light in texture. This low Abv snack has an extended lager time with earthy flavors of coffee, caramel, chocolate, molasses and toasted bread.

16 oz draft in a dimpled mug. Aroma and flavor are a carbon copy. Rich coffee hints with mild roasted malt and a very soft hop bitterness. Exceptionally well balanced. Rich malt profile.

Can from trade with Steve. Opaque dark brown with tons of sparkle, thick head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt, bitter coffee, cocoa, toffee. Taste is strong earthy, roasted malt, bitter coffee, brown bread. Smooth, creamy, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. More earthy and bitter than I'd love but props for good complexity, strong aroma and flavor.
