Clear, dark amber-brownish color and an off-white head. Nose is roasted malts, faint molassy and dried fruits. Taste is malty, decent sweet, faint hoppy with a twist of brown sugar.

Draught @ Hochwalder Brauhaus. Pours clear amber with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, little brown sugar, light hay. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, brown sugar, light hay. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 110820

Draught@brewpub. Deep amber colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, herbal and a bit toasted notes as well. Flavour is wooden, herbal, mild yeast and some wooden notes. Nice mellowly toasted finish.

From tap. Pours clear and golden derp brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish. Mild sweet. Roasted. Toffee and slight breadish. Bitter and light herbal. Dark malty and toffee to breadish finish.

Draught @ Hochwälder Brauhaus. Aroma is mild with some roastiness and nuts. Flavour has sweet toffee and hints of bready malt. Finishes with nuts. A dunkel on the sweet-ish side.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, nutty, caramel, fruity, keller notes. Intial flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter, middel flavour is light moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter, earthy, finish flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, nutty peel bitter and dusty, caramel,. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121004]

Herb-dunkler und röstiger Beginn mit wenig Bitterkeit. Starke Karbonisierung. Dann laffer, süßlich, erfrischend. Gut trinkbar, aber vom Hocker reißen kann mich auch dieses Bier nicht. 13/8/9/9//8
