Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a three finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts, light coffee tones, sweet earthy character and a little bit of cocoa powder
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet quality with a semi-earthy toned malt driven tone underneath; finishes dry with sone roasty and cocoa notes
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable? Yeah, I think this one is. Then some smoothness along the tongue with a touch of dryness
Overall: a very nicely done oatmeal stout I would welcome again.

Can (23335) pour in trade with Steve. Opaque dark brown with nice sparkle, persistent small head with no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted, earthy malt and oats. Taste follows aroma along with toffee. Smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Excellent strength with decent complexity. Nice oatmeal stout.
