This stout uses both chocolate malt and cacao nibs from Ghana to impart dark chocolate flavor to the beer. A small amount of milk sugar and oats add body and slight sweetness making this beer a treat after having a bite to eat.

Taster pour from a can at Rising Pint Brewfest. It's an opaque black with tons of sparkle, ring of beige head with trace lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt, toffee with mild milk chocolate at end. Taste is strong roasted malt, toffee, chocolate and hint of dark cherry. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not amazing but quite good. Lactose is not overdone and may lend more to body than taste.
