Growler fetched by me@PBF X. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is cardboard, some bananas, mild wood and earth with some tartness. Flavour is citrus, bananas, tart and some mild herbal tones. A shame, and this is only 3-4 weeks from visiting the brewery and I had electric cooling bags with me (and actually fridges at the few hotels on my trip). A shame.

Growler at PBFX. Golden color, small white head. Cardboardish, slightly tart, light banana. Light-bodied. Flavor is also slightly tart. Some banana. Strange that this is so acidic as it is fresh from tanks 4 weeks ago.

Bottled @ PBF X. Amber color, thin white head. Bit soury, wheaty, spicy. Flavor has sourness, citrusy notes. Not very weizen like.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy golden, small head. Lemony nose with bread and banana. Tart with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Lemon and grain. Mid bitter finish. Sharp and simplistic.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Dry estery and slight herbal. Bitter, dry and estery. Bitter and dry hoppy. Dry estery and bitter finish.

Sehr trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, Nelke, wenig fruchtig. Geschmack leicht bananig, hefig, Nelke, typisches Weizen.

Draught @ Schmelzer Brauhaus, Am Erzweg 12, Schmelz, Saarland, Germany 66839.Unclear light to medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, phenol, yeast, light banana - dark banana. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, phenol, yeasty, fruity, warm banana. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20121004]

Tap at brewpub. Banana, orange, clove and wheat malt aroma. Hazy amber color with moderate head. Sweet orange, banana, clove and wheat malt flavor. Low carbonation. Nice flavor - pretty good.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy amber-orange color. Some aroma of wheat and dirt. Quite round body, some malt flavor, wheat, spices, light sweetness, very light smokey touch. Not bad.
