Our Airship (flagship) porter (24 Porter) got flipped around giving life to this Baltic Porter, a Lagered porter hailing from the Baltic States bordering the Baltic Sea. Our interpretation of this style is nearly jet black with hints of ruby. Aromas of dark roast coffee and chocolate mingle with plum and raisin. Roasty flavors give way to dark fruit and light caramel with a dry coffee like finish. Na Zdrowie!

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
5 oz. tap pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Aroma is roasted malt. Appearance is virtually opaque cola brown with nice cap of beige head with good retention and nice ring of lacing. Taste is earthy roasted malt and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, neither complex nor strong but ok for the style.
