On tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with cap of tan head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is roasted malt with mild lactose. Taste is strong roasted malt and lactose. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not terribly complex and not getting much in the way of chocolate or coffee but good strength of aroma and taste.
