Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown almost black color with a quarter finger of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: Belgian sweet chocolate malts, earthiness, dark fruits, light tobacco, noticeable lager yeast and some dark bread
Flavor: intertwines the prior noted aromas to a fine malty sweet to earthy & fruity sweet and adds in a little bit of brown sugar; finishes malty, dark fruity and earthy
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness, subtle dryness but nothing offensive; good carb level
Overall: I'd say pretty well done even though I noticed the lager yeast which I don't normally do in Baltic porters so I have to ask the question - is that okay for the style or not? Hmmmm, well, I'd still return to this.

Can (1/14/22) pour from Beer and Wine Nation. It's a cloudy chestnut brown with nice sparkle, finger-plus width beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted earthy malt, brown bread with light dried fruit. Taste is strong earthy roasted malt, brown bread, tobacco, vague nuts. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not complex but some nice elements--good for the style.

Pours a nice black from a can, light cream-colored head. Nice roasted coffee aroma, peanut shells, similar flavor with a little chocolate. Good beer.
