The Fordson Tractor first came off the American Henry Ford & Son manufacturing line in 1917. By 1919, it was rolling off the line in Cork, Ireland. Known as a reliable and well built tractor, we decided to brew another installment for our Tractor series. This dark roasted brew is also reliable and well built.

Can pour. It's an opaque black with no sparkle, finger-width beige head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong sweet roasted malts and light toffee. Taste is sweet roasted malts and toffee, hint of anise. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not super complex but a good representative of the style and strong aroma and flavor.
