On tap at Tapped, Maplewood. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, finger width light brown foamy head with good retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong coconut and sweet roasted malt. Taste mirrors aroma. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth, creamy, frothy texture soft carbonation and finish as taste. Alcohol hidden well. Overall, nice coconut flavor and mouthfeel. Though didn’t get almonds, comforting and enjoyable.
