Bottle I picked up on Rakuten on sale. A soft lightly cloudy gold with a fizzy eggshell white head fills my tulip by disappears leaving only film of white behind. The aroma is horse blanket, hay, funk and a bit of bretty pineapple. The light ultra-dry body gives you soda bread, banana, pineapple, wheat, funk and hay. A tasty saison on this sweltering July day.

Pours a light amber from a bottle, thick head. Lemony aroma, similar flavor with a nice bread dough aspect, some white pepper. Light, not interesting but not offensive. Good beer.

Tap at Imazato. Deep gold, hazy, with lace. Nose of peaches, grains, light citrus. Grainy flavor, lemon / grapefruit, light funk. Sweet and a bit heavy and thick. Not so impressive.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear gold with very little head that dissipates almost instantly. Light lemon and floral-forward nose with some bubblegum upon opening. Light farmhouse notes as it warms up. Medium to low carbonation. Light yogurty tartness with lemon zest and meringue towards the finish. Finish is a tad boozy, but nice tartness, without being sour. Decent.

On tap at Angel's Trumpet Ale House, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out some rustic farmhouse notes, citrus and biscuity malt. Flavour is complex, with lots of rustic farmhouse notes, citrus and Belgian yeast. Not a totally authentic saison, but better than most, that's for sure. Complex and well-constructed. Excellent.

Bottle. Pours clear golden orange, large off white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma of dusty, grassy, honey, Belgian spice, black pepper, oranges. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, dusty and peppery with a noticeable fruitiness. Light body, high carbonation. Interesting.

Bottle at Vienna tasting February 2016. Many thanks! Hazy orange colour. Slightly sweetish, with moderate funk and pleasant fruity complexity filling the flavour. Really easy drinking, tasty. Just not your typical saison.
