The beer you are holding is unique. A special strain of yeast and a warm fermentation produces a beer of exceptional flavor and aroma. An extended secondary maturation and bottle conditioning ensures all these unique qualities are preserved and evolve over time. Serve at 50°F in a tulip glass.

@ Falling Rock. Hazy blonde. Herbal, yeasty aroma with a little hop. Spicy, yeasty, light malt character. A fairly ordinary American-made saison, simplistic and lacking in style. Maybe it is better from the bottle - that happens with some of these typ

Bottle. Hazy deep golden body. Huge frothy, pillowy white head, mostly lasting. Big spicy aroma of clove, pepper, earth, herbs, sweet cotton candy. Hints of orange and banana. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. The initial sweetness is washed away by tastes of clove, pepper, soap and lemon. Just a hint of basement and banana in the taste. The aroma is better than the flavor which seems overspiced. Dry, but not as dry as classic saisons. Good beer.

Shipped from Tenesseejed420: Interesting that the previous review noted that this is bad for shipping. I don’t quite disagree. Carbonation got out of hand and possibly a wee bit of it leaked out, but it is hard to say. In any case, I don’t think that this was ruined, although it was perhaps slightly altered. Pours a cloudy golden color with oodles and oodles of frothy white head. Aroma is of pepper, spice, a hint of fruitiness, and some yeast (the pilsner malt aspect were certainly present). Taste was very much on the dry side of saison-land. Kind of sweet at the front and then goes for the spice and whatnot towards the end. My friend who tried this noted that it is like drinking two beers at once. In any case, this is a good refreshing saison and I would be interested to try and non-shipped bottle to see whether my experience of it was vitiated.

750ml capped bottle poured into a sniffer glass. Thick muted golden color, cannot see through it and the small head sticks around. Aroma is herbal rich, fresh, earthy, grassy, dry, and a sweet peppermintesque character, which is cool. Flavor losses that light sweetness and is full of easy herbal character. The carbonation is lightly felt on tip of the tongue. All fades quickly with a dryness left over. I could drink this often. Thanks Brandon.

Bottle thanks to womencantsail. Pours with a hazed golden body and a huge white head. Aromas of grass, suntan lotion, dry grain. Spicy. Flavors are grainy, dry, estery, phenolic and grassy. Lively bubbles, finishes very dry. Lots of esters. Easy drinking. 3.3

Subsequent Drinking experiences with this beer have definitely grown on me.

Muddy orange-blond color; medium sized but frothy head. The aroma is yeasty, somehow spicy, with fruity traces but also tones of vegetables. The dry mouthfeel is a good trait; the malt flavor is dry and spicy, with a quite high yeast presence and light citrusy fruits; correct bitterness. Quite good.
