Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is pale greenish-yellow, like a watered down beer would be or a a beer with seltzer. Mild sparkle, thin ring of white head and decent lacing. Aroma is kind of pilsner malty, cracker. Taste is wheat, dominant. Maybe light lemon. Pilsner/wheat, slight bitter European hops. No bubblegum, etc. of interest. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, lacking the most interesting elements of a hefeweizen (bubblegum, lemon, etc.)--this is mainly just malts, and mostly pilsner at that.
