500 ml bottle, as Fanø Goodbye, Hello Hoppy Baltic Porter, from Vinoble, Frederikshavn. ABV is 7.2%, IBU 40. Black colour, huge tan head, takes \"forever\" to settle. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee, some vinous hints. Distinct roasty flavour, notes of strong coffee, dark bitter chocolate and unsweetened liquorice, also distinct bittering hops. Feels stronger than it actually is.

Many thanks to djoeye for sharing a 500ml bottle, 7.8 % abv, of this one. Good looking with a deep black body under a stable fawn-coloured head that left crocheted lacing on the glass. Appealing mid-sweet nose of cocoa and dark dough, hints of smoked malts. Well rounded taste profile of cocoa, mid-sweet chocolate and a developing coffee bite towards a nicely roasted end. Fine bodied. Pleasant porter version. (Rating session with Finn and djoeye, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 13.09.2020).

Bottle 7.2% @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy coffee brown with big, stable tan head. Clear aroma of og malt, caramel, and dried fruit, with touches of yeast and bareel. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with nutty notes and sweetish touches of malt, fruit and yeast. Roasty and hoppy aftertaste with hints of barrel and yeast. Good bitterness. Decent work.

Definitivt Goodbye Hello for i aften.

50 cl bottle poured in to a Snifter. Near black with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with coffee, chocolate, caramel malts and fruity notes. Citrus fruits and earthy hoppy notes. Taste is sweet roasted. Full bodied. Dry and roasted bitter finish. Label says hoppy porter. It delivered just that.

Opaque brown beer, good size pale tan head. Palate is airy, dry and has a fine crispness. Smooth malts packed full of chocolate, a kind of milkshake milk chocolate but not as sweet. Well integrated mild hop, little orange and mild bitterness. Finishes smooth and dry. Drinkable and interesting.
