On tap at Fairbar. It’s a more our less black one, topped by a dense, light tan head leaving lacings. The aroma is more vinous and berryish than roasted. Still, there’s roasted malts, some coffee and chocolate, and notes of liquorice. It’s very dry on the palate, full-bodied and lightly warming. It feels lightly salty, with dark berries, liquorice, roasted malts and coffee. Lasting vinous finish with dried fruits and roasted malts and a warming touch. A nice one indeed, very unusual, but nice. 121111
