Taster pour on tap at NH Brewfest. Appearance is very, very dark brown--almost opaque--with no discernible sparkle, thin cap of beige head. Aroma is nice coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is more bitter coffee than the aroma (the more I drink, the more bitter it seems to get), with mild vanilla and chocolate. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, lively carbonation, and finish as taste. Overall, this is just too bitter to be enjoyable for me. Well made, aside from overcarbonated, but for those who enjoy bitter coffee.
