Can pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is opaque light yellow-orange (like tangerine juice), trace sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width frothy off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is mild sweet and tart fruit/citrus, rye. Taste is strong initial rye, followed by tart over sweet fruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation, hint of pleasant alcohol warmth and finish as taste. Overall, many interesting elements here but they all seem somewhat muted. If everything were amped up, this could be really interesting.
