Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is interesting dark brown (like a mix of root beer and dirty water), with beige head with fair retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is roasted cereal (Cheerios), slightly ashy, nuts. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a fairly interesting, different brown ale likely owing to the English malts and hops, that works pretty well.
