Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is hazy orange/light brown with 2-finger width foamy white head after vigorous pour with fair retention, minimal sparkle and sticky, soapy lacing. Aroma is brown bread, mild citrus and melon. Taste is somewhat tart with noticeable alcohol, dark fruit, melon and late brown bread. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, aroma and taste are quite different from each other, which I like, and there's a lot going on in the flavor but I'm not convinced it's all intentional. Beer was bit old (4 months) so probably lost a good deal of its hoppy goodness (and maybe developed something else in its stead). Not altogether enjoyable but, still, points for being interesting and different.
Get very tropical fruity flavor. Like I'm on an island in the sun. Hopefully Gritty isn't leering in your window tonight.
