Abbey Normal is created using Belgian specialty malts, dark candi sugar in the kettle, and our secret Belgian yeast. It has a deep reddish-brown hue, aromas and flavors of sweet malt, brown bread, raisins and plums. A soft touch of Hersbrucker hops and that enigmatic fruity spiciness that can come only from an authentic Belgian yeast finishes the experience on your palate. Medium-bodied, with a spritzy yet gentle carbonation, traditionally conditioned, and, of course, unfiltered.
