GraviCask, shared with Finn at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Deep dark brown body. Filmy layer, faint lacing. Inviting smell of brittle caramel. Dark caramel flavours joined by a touch of liquorice. Nicely roasted bitter ending. Smooth in the mouth. Medium bodied . A nice one (Derby 19.02.2016).

Gravity cask at the Bedford Beer Festival. Black with a bit of off-white head. Aroma of salt liquorice and coal smoke. Slight tinge of burning plastic. Sharp sweet-sour taste. Sour aftertaste. Weak palate for a beer like this. Very odd and nothing to get excited about really.

On cask @ Three Tuns, Dronfield - A deep black body, not much in the way of head, rather dull complexion. Heavy nose of red and black fruits, caramel and burnt sugar. Taste is heavy on the molasses and ripe fruits, very sweet and rich. Not too much to my taste, but okay nonetheless.
