Bottle. Clear amber with a brief white head. Fresh aroma of hops, malt and grass. The taste was medium sweet with hops, fruit, malt and caramel. Refreshing and a nice beer to drink. However far from a traditional German Okberfestbier.

Bottle. This one’s all about hops, and that’s not bad. However, I kind of miss the nice maltiness present in the earlier Mohawk-lagers. This one’s a bit, overhopped, bitter and not at all true to style. Drirnkable, tough.

33 cl bottle from Systebolaget i Mölndal. BB 130103, consumed on September 17, 2012Very well filled bottle, very little headspace. Small co2 sound (pys) when opening.Hazy amber color, big lasting white head. Citrus, tropical fruit, sweet, malty, hops, fresh, caramel, mango, slight bit resin scent. Sweet, caramel, herbal, hoppy, bitter, round, biting taste. Starts off sort of sweet, turns more to a lingering bitterness along the way, via fairly large hop bite to it. Aftertaste is mainly hoppy resinous bitter. Pretty rich mouthfeel, feels like either low co2, or that it has merged into the beer more. Fairly high to high bitterness. Balancing on tipping over to "too bitter" for my taste, but still without tipping the scales. Might lure both hop lovers and hop moderate persons. Nice one.

330ml Bottle - Amber with a small head. Grapefruit and biscuity malt in the aroma. Hoppy, malty and slightly sweet taste with notes of toffee, grapefruit and pine. Nice, but not particularly authentic for the style.

Härlig mörk färg. Doft av humle och mer humle. Len munkänsla och mer humle...Vad vill Stefan Gustavsson med denna oktoberöl? Förnya genre?? Ta bort humlen och kvar blir en välgjord öl.

Amber with a foamy head. Aroma of biscuit, yeast and fruit. Pleasantly soft but full bodied. Fruity aroma hops makes this a not very typical October beer, but good nevertheless.

Bottle. Almost clear, deep golden/amber liquid with medium to big, foamy off-white head. Aroma of noble/floral hops, tangerine, biscuit, mango, cereal, lager yeast and light caramel. Taste is dry and medium bitter with a nice, biscuit malt backbone and tropically fruity hops. Some vanilla as promised, which makes me think a bit of yoghurt. Medium bodied with a bit high carbonation. Nice stuff, though not exactly a traditional Oktoberfestbier.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours very hazy reddish brownish golden with a big frothy goldenish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace on the glass. Smell is is tiny sweet, tiny sour, fruity, slightly herbal and hoppy with dark bread, overripe plums, dark grapes, freshly cut grass, cereal, mandarin oranges, dry peppery wood and hints of orange peal. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter fruity and herbal with sweet dark bread, orange peal, freshly cut grass, cereal, pine, unripe mango, wood, dry soil and hints of caramel. Mouthfeel is round, tiny oily bitter and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and tiny astringent with cereal, overripe tropical fruity, dry soil, wood, fresh grass and hints of pine.
