750 ml bottle into pint glass; bottled on 9/6/2013, 6% ABV listed. Pours crystal clear very dark reddish brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of chocolate, cocoa, toast, cranberry, brown bread, light roast, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and toast/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, cranberry, and fruity/earthy yeast ester notes; with decent strength. Taste of chocolate, cocoa, cranberry, toast, brown bread, light roast, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and toast/yeast earthiness. Light fruity tartness/earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of chocolate, cocoa, cranberry, toast, brown bread, light roast, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and toast/yeast earthiness on the finish fora short bit. Nice complexity and balance of dark/bready malt, cranberry, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; with solid robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy/acidic mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid fruited stout. Good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, cranberry, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. I was expecting much more robustness from malt flavors for a 6% stout; but it was an enjoyable offering.

Small beige head. Clear deep dark red body with carbonation. Earthy licorice and prunes aroma. Dry-tart earthy chocolate and wild berries taste with soy sauce notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, astringent mouthfeel. Dryish-tart aftertaste is much the same, with slight funkiness. Really unusual and highly interesting. (0.25l draft at Schouskjelleren, Oslo.)

Draught (backlog). Deep reddish brown colour with a small off-white fluffy head. Aroma is sour berries, some sweet malts, mild roast and liquorice. Flavour is berries, roasted malts, some toffee, liquorice and mild ashes. Nice sour edge, which actually reminds a bit of infected sourness, but still not that harsh.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Very dark mahogany pour. Light head with some lacing. Didn't get much from the aroma but didn't expect to either. The strange thing for me with this beer is that I like cranberries and I like some sourness in my ales, but this beer is sour and packed full of cranberry flavours. The cranberry is just way too overpowering for me. If I have fruit in my beer I like the flavour to be subtle, but with this beer it hit me right in the face. I had hoped the beer might grow on me as I moved further down the glass, but it didn't. I'll stick with Cranberry juice from Tesco instead of in my Meantime stouts in future! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. ABV was said to be 4.7%. Black colour, moderate beige head, nice lacing. Pleasant aroma of cranberries, hints of chocolate and mild coffee in the background. Fruity and moderately acidic flavour, cranberries of course, roasty notes (mild coffee). Fairly refreshing.
