Has weak brownish copper and no foam. Smells of soft toffee, molasses hints. Taste is bitter molasses, slight sweet hops, finishes smooth but wet. Drinkable but that's about it.

Amber brown with a short lasting off-white, foamy head - has a slight fruit cake aroma with a hint of sherry. Malty taste profile with caramel sweetness and dark fruits, offers the tiniest hint of hop bitterness in the finish and has a pleasant, smooth mouthfeel

Half-pint, cask ale at Sir Richard Owen in Lancaster. Shared with Finn. Off-white head blanketing the glass. Next to clear copper coloured body. Smell of caramel malts and apricot. Similar taste, nice blend of caramel and dried fruit. Ends with a bittersweet touch. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (06.02.2019).

This one certainly hits the spot! 23 IBU.
