Bottle 330ml.[ Trade by omhper ]. [ Vintage 2005 ]. Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, oxidide, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, soy sauce, dark roasted, chocolate, dark dried berry, raisin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120915]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and oxidized. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 150912

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, wood, nuts and notes of hopes. Clearly oxidated.

Bottle, 8.5% @ FOneFan. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and oxidized. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, oxidized, medium sweet, little liquorice, hop and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Really late Summer Tasting Ulfborg, 2012. Pours black with a off white head. Nose is plum, soy, ash and roast. Vinous. Flavor is burnt malts, cellar, liquorice and soy. Smooth and soft. Warming alcohol . .

330ml Bottle (Thanks Omhper) - Black with a foamy tan head. Rich aroma with notes of plain chocolate, liquorice and sweet malt. Roasted and slightly tart taste with notes of plain chocolate,cold coffee and malt.

Black with large light brown head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, liquerice and coffee notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, liquerice, smoke and coffee notes. Ends sweet with warming alcohol.

Jet-black beer under slightly irregular, dark beige head; Very sharp scorched/burnt/roasted malt and -... nose. Alcohol jumping out of the glass. Very nice, much milder taste with bog myrtle, subtle chocolate, billberries, laurel. And some roasted malt coffee/chicory. Well bodied, but not overly thick. Nice, even rather complex I.S. Pity about the aggressive nose. Abject thanks to conniving Thomas D.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dusty stored fruits as well as lighter notes of chocolate and alcohol. The flavor is sweet combined with a slight acidity from the roasted malt, and with notes of berries, and chocolate, leading to a long lasting dry finish.
