Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2012, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dry, burnt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120119]

cask at the brewpub ... deep dark red brown ... thin tan head ... soft blackcurrant roast malts ... mellow sweet roast malts ... soft choclate ... quite bitter linger ... little chalky dryness ... long long long lasting building linger on finish
