White Storm

Tap at Overshores Brewing Company, New Haven. Color is cloudy deep golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, tropical fruits, hops and malts. Pretty good.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from the source. Appearance is like cider--cloudy light brown--can't discern sparkle, 2-finger width rocky beige head with decent retention, trace lacing. Aroma is pineapple, light citrus and resin and caramel malt. Taste is pineapple, citrus, malt background, piney resin, wheat. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation with mix of sweet pineapple/malt with resin. Overall, I'm not the biggest fan of resiny bitterness, but there's nice balance with decent complexity.
