Updated 9/17/17. Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Andover Liquors. Appearance is hazy light brown (fine dark particulates) with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with fair retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is tropical fruits with light grapefruit, dank earth over malt backbone. Taste is tropical fruit, light grapefruit, dank earth over grainy malt. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with average carbonation and more sweet than bitter finish. Overall, some complexity but not in the most flavorful, pleasing way. OK.

Pours gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Grapefruit and mango aromas. Thick caramel upfront turning to pith before the lasting grassy finish.
