From the can. Sweet caramel and malt aromas. Soft with sweet caramel upfront turning slightly soapy before the earthy malt finish.

Can pour into tulip glass from Julio’s Liquors. Appearance is clear, deep reddish-brown with moderate sparkle, finger-width beige head with poor retention and attractive lacing. Aroma is strong toffee with vanilla. Taste is roasted malts, toffee, vanilla. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with average carbonation and mix of sweet caramel and bitter roasted finish. Overall, a tasty, straightforward brown ale.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color. Slowly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Moderate speckled lace.
The aroma takes milk chocolate to surround some sly nuttiness, subtle toffee, then some caramel malts super low.
The flavor brings in those aromas sweetly with a subtle roast. Light coffee bean bitterness. Nice wet roasty and sweet milk chocolate aftertaste. Smooth chocolate finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable feel about it.
Overall, wow, Mayflower, look at you, making a spectacular Brown ale dosed nicely with a ton of chocolate in it. Almost porter like, but real good. Definitely have this again.

Pours a nice rich reddish brown from a can. Aroma of toffee and toast, flavor similar with very light chocolate notes. Good beer.
