Poured into a mug, the appearance was a murky brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some soft sweet biscuits and caramel up front with a light grassy hoppy base.
The flavor blended the previously mentioned aromas together somewhat sweet with a malty dryness penetrating the aftertaste fairly nice. Followed through in the finish with just a bit more toffee, but also a little bit of leather.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Light carbonation with a sturdy ABV.
Overall, pretty good brown ale, but where’s the nuts. However, if anything, there weren’t any flaws.

Pours a very nice, translucent brown from a can, some lacing. Aroma is of cold convenience store coffee. Flavor improves somewhat with some semisweet chocolate notes, along with some toffee, but a watery coffee and chocolate is still dominant. Think how Yoohoo is a very thin chocolate "drink" and that might describe the weirdness of the flavor. There’s a bit of cola too right at the end. Medium-bodied with a bit of effervescence. Good beer.

Bottle pour into pint glass from One Stop Market. Aroma is strong caramel, chocolate, vanilla. Appearance is dark brown with slight mahogany, nice sparkle, finger-width beige creamy head with good retention and attractive lacing. Taste is roasted caramel malt bordering on ash, mild chocolate, light coffee bitterness. Palate is light bodied with lively carbonation felt mostly on the tongue. Overall, a good brown ale with some interesting features and strong aroma and flavor.
