Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Dandelion yellow-gold with a creamy head. Has a decent light hopped nose with a slightly more balanced hop-malt taste, although there’s a little more hop than malt here. Somewhat crisp.

Hand-pulled half-pint at Ye Old Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 29th June 2014. Clear golden brew with a good white crown. Floral nose and taste, dry with an apple note or two within the flavours. Medium bodied but not a lot going on taste wise in my opinion.

Cask at the Old manor (JDW), Bracknell. Straw with a loose white head; grainy aroma; citrus taste with a grainy body and a dry, dusty, grassy bitterness. Another boring golden summer ale.

Cask at the Moon Under Water - Balham, London. Pours clear gold with a soft, creamy white cap. Mild lemon citrus on the nose, some dough and hay. Light sweet flavor with white bread dough, some faintly astringent lemony bitterness, biscuits and hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Sweet finish with simple pale malt sugars, bitter hay, faint husky grains. A decent golden.

Handpull at The Postal Order, Worcester. Golden beer, dry, minimal aroma and sadly rather boring.

Cask at The Rickmansworth Festival, Herts. A straw coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Malty, fruity aroma. Tastes quite fruity, malty, slightly hoppy. Pleasant enough.

Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 06/03/13. Clear mid golden with a good sized white head that retains well. Decent lacing ensues. Nose is pale malt, light vinegar notes, touch of citrus, dull! Taste carries a bit more clout - pale malt, light fruit and sugars, light hoppage. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Pretty average stuff.
