Cask at the Eldon Arms, Reading. A bright reddish copper colour with a tight cream head; aroma of pine forests; spicy resinous bitter taste with a malty body; and a long satisfying gently bitter finish. An excellent bitter.

Sweetish, fruity-malty taste of honey, caramel and licorice, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Okay.
