Hazy copper with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of toffee and biscuit, with a strong note of diacetyl. Dryish malty flavour with diacetyl and plenty of grassy and herbal hops.

Cask at Hanging Bat. Pours clear amber brown, good pillowy white head. Nutty, pear drop aroma. Decent taste thought, good bitterness and digestive biscuit sweetness. Creamy texture, long bitter finish. Shame about the nose, otherwise a nice beer.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 23 Nov 2013) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, red fruit and hints of chocolate and toffee. Malty taste with red fruit, caramel, toffee, toasty malt and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.
