Whiskey barrel aged Cranachan Ale:
Inspired by the classic Scottish dessert, Cranachan. A smooth, sweet blend of honey malt, oats & a sprinkling of lactose for added creaminess, then aged in whisky casks for 9 months and finally, transferred on top of fresh raspberry puree before being packaged.

Can from the brewery. Appearance - deep amber with a red autumnal hue. Chestnut near the tan head. Nose - raspberry and cream. Hob nob. Taste - more hobnobs and creamy raspberry. Some vanilla. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture. Decent linger. Overall - a bit weird but good.
