Cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2018, Norwich. Pours bright copper colour with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hop, malt, fruit and treacle. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body. Sweetish, caramel finish.

On cask at Red Lion, Kegworth - Transparent copper body with off white head. Nose is malt, sweet caramel, grassy resinous hop. Taste is bread, dough, sticky malt, sweet caramel. Bitterness lingers on the heavy carbonation and a slightly syrupy body. Tasty.

Cask (gravity) @ The Bree Louise, 69 Coburg Street, Euston, London, England NW1 2HH.Clear medium to dark amber colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, nutty, caramel, fruity, light to light moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, light licorice - nutty hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120122]
