Back in 2012, Kevin, Damon, Colin, and Stephen brewed a naturally cloudy, hoppy summer wheat beer. With low bitterness and a citrusy zing, this beer was the perfect thirst quencher.

Cask @ Bow Bar 200712
Light amber, very hazy, creamy white head, some lacing
Aroma - Very soft citrus hops and pale malt background
Taste - Really soft flavours here of citrus fruits, light malts, easy drinking, hint of bitter zest
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, fairly acidic palate, quite creamy. Finish as main flavour with a slight hint of biscuity cereal.
Overall - Very easy drinking for the abv - bit more tweaking to add more fruit flavour will do the trick with this one

50cl bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a disappointing lack of head. The nose has oranges, some herbs against a gentle malt background. The taste has bitter grapefruit pith. The palate is light to medium in body with a long bitter finish. Overall, I thought this tasted more like a Wit in the base part of it and with more hop content on top making me think its like a pale ale too. As a hefeweisen, it is not recognisable, but I do like it.

Aroma: Citrus, grain and light pepper.

Appearance: Cloudy, light amber body with a loose white head that soon fades completely. Slight lacing.

Taste: Orange rind, lemon and a subtle vanilla flavour. Fruity and well balanced. Not particularly bitter, so very easy drinking.

Palate: Light to medium body with a slick, watery mouthfeel. Gentle carbonation.

Overall: This is the bottled version of Anorak (bottle number 1,911 of just 3,200). Perhaps a tad of the watery side, but this is a refreshing, juicy example of a hefeweizen. Nice label design.
