[5/4/13] Bottle shared while waiting in line to get in to Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Thanks fonefan for this bottle. Black with a light brown head. Nice chocolate aroma, a bit liqueur-like, with a bit of alcohol and some cherry notes. Sweet flavor with chocolate. Full-bodied. Good.

Bottle @ Y.N.W.A Beershop, Kolding. Pours black with a lovely thick creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is roast, coffee and dark fruit. Flavor is roast, coffee, licorice, ashes and fruit. Smooth , soft and full bodied. Bitter roasted finish with a slight alcohol warmth. Tasty.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and soy sauce, leading to addy roasted finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is overripe fruity and toasted dark malty. Roasted malty and overripe fruity. Toasted malty, sweet, dark toffee and light herbal. Bitter and toasted malty finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pitch black with a small light brown head. Lightly tart dark dried fruit in the nose - there’s really some raisin up there. Medium body only, lowish carbonation, heavy burned roast, raisins and a slight tartness. Malty bitter finish. Very much a British take on an Imperial Stout - rustic! 110113

Bottle 500ml.Clear dark dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, dough, baking yeast, light toffee, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, licorice, salty licorice, roasted, coffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120919]
