An amber English-style ale that has a nice balance between hops and malt. It's the most popular of our beers and the most versatile in terms of pairing with food or people.

An hazy dark amber ale with a thin white head. Rather sweet biscuitty caramel aroma, with light British hopping, lightly floral, restrained. In mouth, a good caramel malt with dry floral hops, nutty notes, not a lot of citrus in this. Bought at Party Source,Syracuse, Nov. 2006.

12 oz bottle-pours a 2 finger high, rich, rocky, tan head that laces. Cloudy burnt orange color with effervescence. Aroma is malt, creamy, musty, background hops. Taste is a burst of hops with some bite, then balanced by a creamy, sweet malt and fruity. Nice. (much different tasting when I had it later with food)

Pretty amber colored body that supports a tall head of off-white. Nice clean mild hop aroma with a caramel malt aroma on the side. The flavor is mildly sweet but comes on a watery palate with little depth or complexity.

Great copper coloured body with a dense off-white head and some ruby highlights. Aroma of light hops, wheat, corn, bubblegum & hot dogs-YES, HOT DOGS! Medium to Light-bodied; Mild malt flavour with hops and some citrus following up. Aftertaste left bland, only a small amount of hops bitter up the palate. Overall, a not-so-good APA, but decent to try & a treat in Georgetown. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Dean & Deluca in Georgetown (Washington) D.C. on 27-August-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Draft. No carbonation. Smooth, sweet caramel, and has a tiny hops flavor. Finish has an interesting bubble-gum yeast flavor that is out of place, but good. Big sweet fruitiness. well balanced. It's a nice change from overhopped APAs.

This is an odd one indeed. Cloudy golden appearance with lots of floaties. This has an aroma of sweentess and bread. The bread in the smell comes through in the flavor a bit, as well as a mild nut flavor. There is a citrus-like tartness in the flavor that last through the finish. Medium bodied and easy to drink, this is an ale that is worth trying, but not worth troubling yourself to search for.

Pale tan; doughy malts, ultra carbonation that really messes with this beer. Some hop in the finish.
