Hybrid dark ale, the ideal combination between a traditional Belgian dubbel and a stout. A lot of dark malts, a solid amount of hops and the addition of junipers will give this beer his unique flavor profile.

We describe this beer as pure rock & roll, therefor this beer is named to the one and only Dutch rock & roller: Herman Brood.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is brown malt with some roast, caramel, a touch of coffee and cocoa. Some (dried) fruity notes with a hint of juniper. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Not bad, like a Belgian Dark Ale with roast, a little coffee.
