Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours black, with a big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is big roasty coffee, cinnamon, mild anisette, and earthy oak. Sweet and burnt, with a nice, dusty bitterness. Medium body, chalky, and sticky. Nice, and interesting.
