Pint at the brewpub. Pours black, with a fairly big, foamy, tan head. The nose is cocoa powder, chalk, mild coffee, pecan, and black pepper. Sweet and malty, with a light, earthy bitterness. Light to medium body, dusty, and clean. Quality and easy porter.
