Caramel brown with a small soapy white head. Toasty malt, nut and wood. Faintly astringent. Medium finish and body.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, amber color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is light peat, cherry wood, leather, and a touch of coffee. Sweet and malty, with a mild, crisp bitterness. Mellow, balanced, and tasty.
