12 oz. can from the Advent calendar. Pours a clear, dark, reddish brown color, with a medium, frothy, dense head. The nose is chicory, pumpernickel, cola, juniper, and caramel. Sweet and bread, with a resinous bitterness. Medium body, chalky, and grainy. Reasonable.

Keg at the brewery. Clear copper large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of grain, toast, earthy hop. Taste is tea, caramel, cherry, roast. Medium bodied, mild lingering hoppiness I wasn't expecting. Oh I'm drunk. Drink ticks ahead!!!
