12 oz. can. Pours dark brown, with a medium, foamy, beige head. The aroma is orange peel, brown bread, wet grass, caraway, and rye. Sweet and malty, with a dank bitterness. Heavy and a bit lively. Pretty nice.

Pour is a clear brown with a large tan head. Aroma is toffee and caramel malt with a little dark fruit. Flavor is red apple with caramel malt with some yeast ester and a hint of warming alcohol. Finish leaves a little sweet malt on the tongue. Probably the lightest quad I've had but the flavor was there and the alcohol was well hidden. Decent beginner quad.

Can - labeled as 12.2% abv - pours a dark mahogany with a sizable head for something so strong - deep caramelized sugars, slight dark fruit, moderate Belgian yeast spiciness, and a moderate alcohol heat on the end - some candied kumquat, plum - fairly sweet on the tail end, but the spice from the yeast balances pretty well - a good take on a style I don’t see nearly enough of anymore.
