Mug at the brewery. Pours a clear, amber color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The aroma is brown bread, black pepper, sage, rye, and caramel. Sweet and bready, with a light, resinous bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and grainy. Quality and refreshing.
