Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours black, with a small, beige head. The nose is toast, rye, walnut, brown sugar, orange peel, and juniper berries. Sweet and syrupy, with a bit of an acrid bitterness. Light, crisp, and sticky. Bright and solid.
